FDSA Street Style State of Mind, Spring 2021
For the Fashion Design Student Association's Spring fashion show, the club selected street style as the theme for the show with a focus on the streets of New York during fashion week. I created two original looks from scratch for the show in addition to my own look. I had fun with color in the first look and the trending victorian/regency era style for the other. I even 3-D printed some of the accessories!

FDSA The Unconventional Met Gala, Fall 2020
With the global pandemic happening, the Fashion Design Student Association, a campus club, was unable to have an in person show this semester. However, we adapted and filmed it instead (linked below). The theme challenged designers to incorporate at least one unconventional material into their looks, include a coordinating face mask, and make it red-carpet-ready attire.

These are my two looks for the show both made from scratch.

This gown is made from shelf liner from the dollar store. When I saw on a trip to brainstorm, it reminded me of lace.

Community Masks in response to COVID-19
In response to the pandemic caused by COVID-19, Community closed doors in March of 2019, shut down all clothing production and pivoted to mask production. With the help of dozens of volunteers, over 2,000 masks were donated to Piedmont Hospital. Thousands of masks were also created for wholesale order for clients like the University of Georgia. To date, I have sewn over 1,000 masks at Community.

Community Athens, Design Internship Summer 2019
Community is a sustainable and local boutique in Athens, Georgia that specializes in vintage and redesigned clothing. I interned as a redesigner for their in house label, Community Service, and made several pieces from scratch to be sold in the store.

FDSA Ethereal Show, Spring 2019

Inspired by whimsy and feminism, I designed and created this gown from a curtain from the thrift store. Satin lining. Each ruffle hand sewn by myself.

FDSA Less & More Show, Fall 2018

Given the choice between going Maximalist or Minimalist, I decided to go to the max with tulle.

Senior Prom May 2017
I was so honored when my best friend asked me to make her a custom dress for our senior prom. The image below was her vision for the gown, minus the dip-dyed skirt.
